Sage-ing Intensive Programs

The Sage-ing Intensive Program provides an introduction to sage-ing philosophy, tools and practices. This program is appropriate for individuals solely seeking personal enrichment and for individuals who intend to pursue a more in-depth knowledge of sage-ing through the Sage-ing Leader Certification Program. The Sage-ing Intensive Programs fulfills the prerequisite requirement for the Sage-ing Leader Certification Program.


Title: Alchemy: Turning Life Experience Into Gold: A Sage-ing Intensive
Dates: March 24-25, 2012
Location: Sacramento CA
Description: Sage-ing is designed to cultivate the wisdom inherent in each of us. It supports one's inner growth and development and cultivates ways individuals may share through mentoring, volunteering and/or growing mind, body, heart and spirit during the second half of life.

Title: Say Yes to Life: Changing the Paradigm from Aging to Sage-ing: A Sage-ing Intensive
Dates: March 31 - April 1, 2012
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Description: This two-day Sage-ing Intensive workshop fulfills the pre-requisite requirement for entering into training with the Sage-ing Guild. CEU's for counselors have been applied for.
Cost: $225, which includes a Sage-ing Workbook, all materials, refreshments, lunches and CEUs for counselors. Discounts given to all Sage-ing Guild Members; partial scholarships are also available.

Title: The Art of Aging, The Gift of Sage-ing: A Weekend Intensive
Dates: April 14-15, 2012
Location: Birmingham, AL
Description: This two-day Sage-ing Intensive workshop fulfills the pre-requisite requirement for entering into training with the Sage-ing Guild.
Cost: $225, which includes a Sage-ing Workbook, all materials, refreshments, and lunches. Discounts given to all Sage-ing Guild Members and/or repeat participants; partial scholarships may also be available.

Title: Aging with Wisdom: A Sage-ing Intensive
Dates: April 20-23, 2012
Location: Skyline at First Hill: A Premier Retirement Community on First Hill, 725 9th Ave, Seattle WA 98104
Description: Participation in this workshop also serves as a pre-requisite for the Certified Sage-ing Leadership training program.
Cost: $275, which includes a free 6-month membership in the Sage-ing Guild; $250 for Current Members*; $150 for repeaters (includes costs for facility use, training, all materials, light breakfasts, lunches, and snacks)

Sage-ing Circle Facilitator Training

The Sage-ing Circle Facilitator Training Program is a three-day weekend program. It qualifies as a prerequisite for the Sage-ing Leader certification program.

Sage-ing Leader Certification Program

The Sage-ing Leader Certification Program provides a personally enriching, in-depth knowledge of sage-ing philosophy, tools and practices to individuals interested in teaching the sage-ing work to others. Participants develop teaching and presentation skills and learn how to put together a successful program and advice on business development and program marketing.

The current Certified Sage-ing Leader class will complete its work this summer. We plan to begin the next Certified Sage-ing Leader training program in June, 2012. For more details, contact (303-819-2588).
